I am not sure what lead me to this book, boy am I glad I read it. It is a memoir written by Allison Pataki.
What I loved about the book is that it is tight and moves forward quickly. She is such a gifted writer, a lot is packed in a few words. I did not skip lines or speed read because there was depth everywhere.

I was moved by her strength, resilience and for staying true to her vows “For better or worse ..” Her spouse has had a stroke, she is in an advanced state of pregnancy, there is a book that is close to being published .. I mean talk about “when it rains, it pours”.
My favorite quote in the book:
The world breaks everyone and afterword
many are strong at the broken places.
Ernest Hemingway
